Lisha      : I’m doing a science project Welish, would you like to help?
                  [Saya sedang menggarap proyek penelitian Welish, maukah kamu membantu?]
Welish : Sure! Is anyone else working on it?
                  [Tentu saja, apakah ada orang lain yg sedang mengerjakanya?]
Lisha      : Not yet, I would like to have Jessica’s help.
                  [Belum ada, tetapi saya mau meminta Jessica untuk membantu]
Welish : OK, I’ll bring along Jack. What is the assignment?
                  [OK, akan aku ajak Jack. Tugasnya apa?]
Lisha      : We have to make a poster about environment
                 [Kita harus membuat poster tentang lingkungan]
Welish : OK, we can meet at school and brainstorm what our project will be.
                 [OK, kita akan bertemu di sekolah dan mengungkapkan pendapat tentang proyek kita nantinya]

Welish : Do you take the next school, Lisha?
                  [Apakah kamu melanjutkan sekolah Lisha?]
Lisha      : No, after I graduated from high school I go working right away. I would like to go back to school and learn
  about business. Do you go to school?
                  [Tidak, setelah lulus SMA saya langsung bekerja. Saya mau kembali lagi bersekolah dan belajar tentang
   bisnis. Apakah kamu melanjutkan sekolah?]
Welish : Yes. I go to university, I’m getting bachelor degree in Biology. It’s difficult but I want to be a doctor one day.
                  [Iya, saya melanjutkan ke universitas. Saya akan mendapatkan gelar S1 biologi, sebenernya sulit, tapi saya
   mau menjadi dokter suatu hari nanti]
Lisha      : Good for you. That is very long schooling. I hope you one day get a master degree in business
[Wah bagus. Itu kuliahnya lama sekalii. Saya harap suatu hari nanti akan mendapatkan gelar master dalam   
  bidang bisnis]

Lisha      : I’m interested in studying at Oxford University, yet I’m not sure how to get there?
                  [Saya tertarik belajar di Universistas Oxford, tapi saya nggak yakin bisa kesana]
Welish : You have to search for a scholarship
                  [Kamu harus mendafatar beasiswa]
Lisha      : How can I do that?
                  [Bagaimana saya bisa melkukanya?]
Welish : Start from searching in the internet, you can find the draft of scholarships
                  [Mulailah mencari di Internet, kamu bisa menemukan daftar macam-macam beasiswa]
Lisha      : Really!
                 [Sungguh!]
Welish : You have to make a recommendation latter for each scholarship, and perhaps you have to write many    
   essays.
 [Kamu harus membuat surat permohonan untuk tiap beasiswa dan mungkin kamu harus menulis banyak 
 essai ]
Lisha      : How do they know that I’m a good candidate?
                 [bagaiman mereka tahu kalau saya kandidat yang bagus?]
Welish : You can ask to your teachers how to make a good recommendation letter for you
[Kamu bisa minta bantuan guru-gurumu untuk membuatkan surat rekomendasi yang bagus untuk mu]

[Ayok Main Futsal]
Welish : My friends are going to play futsal, yet we need one more player. Can you join us?
                  [Teman-temanku mau main futsal, tapi kita kurang 1 pemain. Bisakah kamu ikut?]
Lisha      : I don’t know how to play?
                  [Aku nggak tau cara main nya]
Welish : It’s a piece of cake, you just try and kick the ball into the goal to score a point.
[Mudah sekali, kamu hanya perlu menendang boal ke gawang untuk mencetak point]
Lisha      : Is that all?
                  [Hany aitu?]
Welish : You must stop the other team from kicking the ball into your goal
                 [Kamu harus mengehentikan tendangan tim lawan ke gawangmu]
Lisha      : I can try it
                 [Saya bisa mencobanya]
Welish : You can run fast, I know you will do well, even you are a girl
                 [Kamu bisa lari cepat, saya tahu kamu akan bermain dengan baik, meskipun kamu perempuan]
